Home By Christmas is the launch game in TKC Games brand new The First World War (TFWW™) game series, dealing with WW1 in all its theatres. Starting in August 1914, the game will take players through the first 2 years of conflict, focussing on the war in Flanders, France and Western Europe. Will the Central Powers rapid thrust through Belgium break the Entente, particularly the French Armies, or will the rapidly arriving BEF and the sheer friction of the advance stall the Central Powers… ? In August 1914, Europe erupted into the bloodiest war so far suffered by the people of that continent. Home by Christmas was an illusion. After hundreds of thousands of deaths, and 4 horrific years of war, the nations involved were on the verge not just of financial collapse, but moral and manpower exhaustion. On 11/11/1918, at 11am, the guns fell silent as the warring empires finally signed an Armistice.
Armistice is the TFWW™ game covering the war in Western Europe from 1917 through the Armistice in 1918.
